We present the first new products of this year that will improve our Dicrom paint system, our range of protectors as well as the accessories line designed for the end user.
DB-524 Transparent Dark Burgundy: A new basic pigment in the Dicrom system
Roberlo adds a new basic pigment to its solvent-based paint system, DB-524. It is a transparent dark burgundy, particularly suitable for reds that require high transparency and for shades ranging from burgundy to magenta.
The new DB-524 basic pigment does not mean the discontinuation of any others within the current system. It gives the surface a cleaner color as well as a more blue-red and less orange flop compared to DB-523.
As well as new formulas containing DB-524, this new basic pigment is also available as a color formulation and correction tool, a very valuable quality in markets with a high tendency to retouch color.
New formulas containing the new basic pigment DB-524 will be gradually introduced in the iCrom software. Meanwhile, other color tools, such as the gradient poster and gradient chart, will be updated with the introduction of this new basic pigment. In a second phase, the introduction of new basic pigments will likewise involve updates to color charts currently found in Crombox.
Robliner: the Roberlo Bed Liner
Roberlo is expanding and adding versatility to its range of auto bodywork protectors by launching Robliner. This is a 2k acrylic polyurethane coating with a mix ratio of 3:1. Both its high mechanical and chemical resistance make it an ideal product for coating the visible parts of trailers, pickups or other visible surfaces that may be exposed to more extreme conditions, both physical and environmental. Although its most popular and well-known use is as a coating for visible areas on pickup trucks, its versatility makes it an ideal product for many other applications.
Its main features are:
- A textured appearance that is easy to personalize.
- High mechanical resistance (to abrasion and scratches, impact, etc.).
- High chemical resistance (water, engine oil, …).
- Corrosion protection.
- Weather resistance and UV protection.
- High hardness and flexibility.
- Excellent adherence on different surfaces.
- Applied coating resistant up to 185ºF.
- Recoatable with Dicrom, Ucrom, Disolac and basecoat and 2k topcoat systems.
Robmixer: Paint stirrer
Plastic rod for stirring paint. Designed to mix pigments uniformly and minimize wasted paint.
