It is a source of pride to inform you of the series of improvements carried out in the industrial paint field and included in Roberlo’s strategic growth plan.
In order to equip ourselves with a structure that allows us to face this challenge with certain guarantees, during the last months we have carried out a series of actions, some of which have been previously announced, and which we have summarized below:
- Creation of a specialized division with its own product, commercial and RDI departments.
- Acquisition of Cromaresme: A company specialized in industrial paint and color development for plastics and glass. Its General Industry knowledge has been fully integrated into the new Disolac system, while paints for plastics and glass coatings will remain at Cromaresme. The company’s industrial unit will thus be specialized in both sections.
- Hiring of personnel with extensive experience in the industry.
- Passing audits for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards; and working to achieve future certifications such as the demanding IATF 16949 (automotive industry). In addition, in General Industry the products are mainly manufactured according to the processes related to the ISO 12944 standard that regulates corrosion protection.
- Development of new products and complete renewal of the range.
Our extensive commercial presence in the world and manufacturers’ demand for color systems in other segments represent a guarantee with respect to consistency and service, as well as the quality of our General Industry products.
BRAND, LOGO AND IMAGE:
With the aim of transmitting these advances and reinforcing the brand image to the end user, we have worked intensively on design and communication aspects. The aim of these changes is to reinforce the birth of a brand that stands on its own, presenting a full, independent range of products to the Roberlo bodywork line.
The first change has occurred in the brand’s trade name, which is simplified to DISOLAC, no longer using the "+" symbol.
The new logo, with simple, elegant lines, evokes confidence in the color system, and reinforces the positioning of Disolac as a brand with high quality and performance. The phrase "Industrial Coatings" accompanies this logo at all times, adding to its scope.
The design of the packaging has also been completely renewed, offering a modern image in tune with users.
Furthermore, communication in this area will gain force with new sales catalogues that will explain the different paint applications and processes in the following segments: Structures; Commercial Vehicles; Agricultural Equipment and Industrial Machinery; Product Labeling and Signs; Urban Furniture; Industrial Applications for Housing.
DOCUMENTATION AND COLOR SERVICE ON REQUEST:
New technical and safety data sheets are also being created that will expand the knowledge of end users on these important aspects.
Furthermore, we have added a new color preparation service within the Disolac range. We have started this new project that will provide our distributors and major final customers with a fast color delivery service.
With our Ready Mix system it is possible to make any color available with most of the finishes in the Disolac range. We prepare any color formulation in 2 working days, in order to respond to a market with increasingly high service demands.
