Last Saturday, 21 June, our Italian subsidiary celebrated its fortieth birthday with an event which saw the opening of its technical centre, where body shop courses will be given for the entire country.
The event was well attended by customers, suppliers, branch personnel and Roberlo's general management. The mayor of Vazzola, Gianluca Zaia, and the president of the Treviso province, Leonardo Muraro, whose duty it was to cut the tape to open the new facilities, were also present.
The political representatives of the province and the general management of the company handed over a commemorative plaque of this important occasion to the Roberlo Abrastuk team.
For its part, the new technical centre will give practical courses to the body shops that want to improve the application of our products. This training centre incorporates the latest technology in spray booths, as they are hybrids and allow a choice between three different types of heating.
This celebration was held after Roberlo Abrastuk left its old centre of operations in September, where it had been based since the beginning of the 80s, in order to move into this new larger building.
The new plant has a covered area of 2,600 m2 and is located in the industrial district of Tezze de Vazzola in north-east Italy. This increase in size has helped to optimize the organization of the warehouse and the company has also been able to start up a technical centre equipped with two meeting rooms, where it organises courses for mechanics, sales representatives and clients.
The company was founded almost 40 years ago as Abrastuk s.n.c. by Antonio Ingolfo. Years later it went on to be managed by his sons Matteo and Rudy and in 2001 the company was given a complete revamp by becoming part of the Roberlo Group. To all intents and purposes the company is now a subsidiary of Roberlo for the Italian, Slovenian and Croatian markets.
The new facility houses the management, office staff, technical personnel and warehouse workers. From here, products are distributed to more than 200 retailers. Today, Roberlo Abrastuk also has a warehouse in San Pietro di Feletto in the province of Treviso and three more warehouses for direct sales.
Although this investment took place during a serious economic crisis in Italy, Roberlo is confident that with our solid and extensive range of products we can look towards the future with optimism. There is no doubt that the brand’s restyling, the new articles and the new technical centre are a huge motivation that will define the future of Roberlo in Italy.
