Roberlo received the 2017 Dave Bebelaar award from the Netherlands, which is given for the best green initiative, for its new Vital styrene-free putty.
Duurzaam Repareren is the non-profit organization responsible for organizing the ceremony, which is held annually to recognize the company with the highest degree of respect for the environment.
After announcing the nominees in a video on the organizer's website, the event was held on June 29, with our subsidiary Roberlo Nederland in attendance.
There, our colleague Ben de Hoog presented the product and its benefits in an "elevator pitch" in which he was given just 60 seconds to explain the putty. Ben successfully convinced the audience, which voted for our product.
Roberlo received €1,500 for the first prize, which will be given to social programs. Roberlo Nederland will also double that amount and present it to the DaDa Foundation, which focuses its efforts on improving medical care for children who require special care and facilities in hospitals and healthcare centers.
Roberlo has been and will continue to be committed to the environment, worker health, and society in general, and this award received in Holland, as well as the award received earlier at Motortec Automechanika Madrid, clearly demonstrate this.
We highly recommend watching the video of the original ceremony held on a sailing boat.
