UniRaid is a solidarity adventure aimed at university students from Spain, Portugal and Andorra that is held annually in the Moroccan desert.
It is an educational adventure that presents participants with an extraordinary experience, combining a sporting and humanitarian spirit to help them build their own values as entrepreneurs.
Managing a sponsorship project, teamwork, effort, perseverance, resource management, motivation ... are some of the values this race conveys.
The sixth UniRaid event was held from 25 February to 5 March 2017. Over this period the teams had to take part in a rally between Tangier and Marrakech, using just a compass and a roadbook, at the controls of a vehicle that was more than 20 years old and whose engine capacity was no more than 1,300cc (the race does not admit 4x4 vehicles).
Throughout 6 stages, over 2,500 km and for 9 days, participants overcame challenges posed by the organization and learned to work as a team in order to conclude this adventure, living together with more than a hundred teams. To complete the challenge, the teams transported and delivered 30 kg of solidarity supplies to the population of the desert villages.
In accordance with Roberlo’s Social Responsibility policy, we collaborated with two participating teams as we believe that this challenge promotes the values of our organization. We encourage young people who want to share this great experience to register for the upcoming UniRaid events, something that will definitely help them in their personal and professional future.
