Roberlo’s expansion process was slow to reach Asia. We are therefore dedicating a great deal of effort to the continent by running training courses and technical seminars.
Some of the most prominent of these took place in the Philippines, Thailand and India.
In the Philippines, seminars were held in four cities and proved a great success in terms of participation. Two courses were held in Cebu, each with 40 participants, the session in Tagum City attracted 133 participants, the one in Davao had 102, and in General Santos 185 technicians attended to receive training on Roberlo products.
The seminars consisted of an initial theoretical part followed by a demonstration. The Philippine technicians were able to put the training into practice, especially with our putties and stone chip protectors.
In September, our importer in Thailand conducted two seminars in two different regions in the country. This time the seminars took place in Pattaya on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand and in Surat Thani in Southern Thailand.
The seminars were conducted by MK Industrial Supply Co. Ltd in collaboration with Viriyah Insurance, which has achieved a leading position in Thailand over the last 15 years.
An average of over 100 paint and bodyshops attended both seminars, proof that our products have been well received by the Thai market.
Finally, our team in India held the first course at its technical centre in Noida, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The course was held in October and was conducted by our technician in Asia and the Middle East, Dharmendra Sharma.
